Coleman Hanging Dry NetA Camping Net That Also Works for Drying Vegetables

This is Coleman’s three-tier hanging dry net. It’s made for drying dishes after camping or a barbecue, but it’s also handy for drying vegetables.
Sizes
The Japanese version comes in two types, “I” and “II”, with slightly different sizes and colors. The one on this page is the “I”.
| Size | Weight | |
|---|---|---|
| Hanging Dry Net I | 38 cm (15 in) across × 76 cm (30 in) tall | 290 g (10 oz) |
| Hanging Dry Net II | 32 cm (12½ in) across × 80 cm (31½ in) tall | 180 g (6⅓ oz) |
What we like

- Folds up small: It fits in a round storage bag, so it takes no space when you’re not using it.
- Light: At about 300 g (10 oz), you can hang it from a clothesline or even a curtain rail.
- Keeps out bugs and dust: It’s enclosed in mesh, so it’s fine to hang outdoors.
What could be better

For laying out and turning vegetables, the Onoe drying net, with its wide opening, is easier to use.
We use the Onoe net on days when we dry a lot, and the Coleman net on days when we dry just a little or take it camping.
